If Marketing 2.0 is a natural outgrowth of Web 2.0,

then Fake Blog is a natural outgrowth of Marketing 2.0.

I like the word - Flog (Fake Blog) as we all don't like to be flogging.

Enterprise and big brand marketers definitely want to create Flog and manipulate blogs. By covertly creating Flogs, it is a cheap way (cost-effective way) to achieve the goals of Marketing 1.0. And they will probably get more subtle, even as we get better at sniffing out Flogs. They will continue because they probably won't do much damage to their business. But, of course, they won't do them any good either.
